To accommodate classroom time constraints, the Autodesk® Digital STEAM Workshop provides  industry projects that vary in length, from projects that can be completed in a few days to projects that stretch through the entire semester.

To sort by time, click on the timeframe categories to the right and select the projects that best fit into your classroom schedule.

The industry projects cover a wide variety of real-world design initiatives that vary in time to complete.

  • 1 to 5

    1 to 5 Hours

    Great starter projects, providing a strong overview of the creative design process in a short timeframe. These projects can generally be completed in one to three weeks if students are permitted to work on their own with light supervision.

  • 6 to 10

    6 to 10 Hours

    These projects can generally be completed over a period of three to four weeks with classroom lecture time in between. Students can team up or work on their own to complete the projects.

  • 11 to 14

    11 to 14 Hours

    Larger projects and are well suited for student teamwork, they can generally be completed within six to eight weeks with lecture time in between lab time. Extra time is allocated for your students to research.

  • 15 +

    15 + Hours

    These longer projects can cover a semester or moreand are valuable for not only teaching design, but for promoting teamwork and collaboration, teaching software skills, and helping your students gain confidence and presentation skills.
